  • Hosted site The Creature Catalog has been completely revamped. The spiffy new site also has a new feature which allows you to upload your own monsters and templates.
  • Mark tomorrow night in your diary - former WotC CEO and new owner of Gen Con, Peter Adkison, will be dropping in for a chat.
  • Remember that tomorrow is the last day to vote in the ENnies. If you want to see your favourite publisher win some awards, make sure you support them!

D20 System News

  • New at WotC: Model Tactics: Salamander Trooper.
  • D&D e-Tools is now available for pre-order (scooper: Eric Noah).
  • Privateer Press have posted a short story, Pieces on a Map, set in their Iron Kingdoms setting. They also posted a brief summary of The Monsternomicon's contents in their mailing list:
    • Over 80 creatures
    • Traits for the playable races of the Iron Kingdoms: trollkin, nyss, gobbers, orgun
    • Three prestige classes (monster hunter, adventuring scholar, bone grinder)
    • "Quickplates": quick and easy templates to boost your monsters when you just need to bump up the Challenge Rating a bit
    • Bio and stats for Prof. Viktor Pendrake, the book's narrator
    • Summary of the cosmology of the Iron Kingdoms-learn about the Infernals and their horrifying soul trade
    • Rules for discovering monster legends & lore
    • Rules for writing and using scholarly tomes
  • Quiklink have posted a rough playtest copy of T20 Lite. It's a 57 page PDF. A quick reminder that they posted character sheets earlier this month (scoopers: Rob, Marc).
  • The print version of Monte Cook's The Banewarrens will be available at Gen Con.
  • A cool scoop from pianobar regarding Ral Partha. The info he has is about their Battletech lines, but it seems reasonable to extrapolate this to their fantasy lines (and it seems to fit) - IronWind Metals has the US license to produce Classic BattleTech minis and Ral Partha UK has the European / World Market.
  • The Dragonlance Nexus has posted its Dragonlance: the Age of Mortals sourcebook. It's a 134 page PDF and contains info on playing in Ansalon prior to the War of Souls.

  • OgreCave have posted an interview with Bad Axe Games.
  • There's a new version of DM's Familiar available.
  • The d20 Magazine Rack has released the second issue of the online magazine, TempesT's Lore, which is available for free download. "We are also looking for a volunteer or two to serve as an editor for our other electronic magazine d20Zine!. The details of this position are available on our front page." They have also posted various pictures taken while at Origins this year.
  • DnDWorld.com has been redesigned, including a new setting and two adventures.
